Restoring gardens, renewing hope
At Jals Transformations in March, we dedicate our time and gardening skills to help members of our community who cannot manage their outdoor spaces on their own. We believe that everyone deserves a peaceful, safe garden to enjoy, regardless of their circumstances.

How our journey began
It all started when neighbours in a local community group pointed out an overgrown garden that had become completely unmanageable for the resident. Seeing someone in genuine need, we stepped in and cleared the entire garden free of charge. The heartfelt gratitude from that first project made it clear how powerful a fresh start outdoors can be, inspiring us to dedicate our free time to supporting others across March.

Who we are here to support
Life can bring challenges that make garden maintenance overwhelming or impossible. We focus our volunteer work on helping the elderly, individuals with disabilities, the infirm, and people navigating mental health struggles. By stepping in without charge, we take away the anxiety and stress of a runaway garden, returning a safe haven where individuals can reconnect with nature and enjoy their green space once again.

How our community can get involved
While we carry out the work with passion, community support keeps this initiative growing. You can help by nominating a neighbour who needs a hand, lending extra muscle for larger garden clearances, donating spare gardening equipment, or contributing funds towards fuel, waste disposal, and essential supplies. Together, we can transform more gardens and brighten lives throughout our local area.
"Having my garden cleared gave me back my peace of mind. I can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine without feeling overwhelmed."
